Delete your account
This page explains how to have your QReport or Tilda user account deleted, and what happens to your information.
How to ask us to delete your account
Write to info@q-inspect.com with the subject "Account deletion". We ask for it in writing, so that both you and we have a record of the request and of when it was sent.
So that we can find the right account, we need:
- the email address the account was created with
- the name of the company or organisation the account belongs to
- which app it concerns — QReport or Tilda
We let you know once the account has been deleted. Until then you can withdraw the request at any time.
What gets deleted
We delete your user account and the personal data attached to it: your name, your email address, your phone number and your login details. After that you can no longer sign in, and access cannot be restored.
What is not deleted automatically
QReport and Tilda are normally used through a workplace. The inspections, reports and photos held in the system belong to the company or organisation that holds the subscription — not to us. We are the data processor for exactly that data, and cannot delete it on our own.
If it should be deleted too, the request has to come from your workplace as data controller. Do write to us anyway, and we will help get it started.
If you hold the subscription yourself, you can ask us to delete the whole account and all data belonging to it in one go.
How long it takes
We handle the request as quickly as we can, and no later than one month after receiving it, as the GDPR requires. If a case turns out to be complicated, we will tell you along the way.
We may have to keep individual records for longer where the law requires it — accounting records, for instance. Those are then used for that purpose only.
Your other rights
Besides erasure you have, among other things, the right to know what we hold about you and to have incorrect information corrected. It is set out in our privacy policy.
